Omron Launches the New BP-S510 Patient Monitor
Firmly demonstrating its commitment to the vital signs monitoring business, Omron Healthcare announced today the launch of a new portable, state-of-the-art patient monitor (model BP-S510) for use in hospitals, dentist offices and regional surgery centers. This product is the first to be released by Omron since the company’s acquisition of Colin in April 2006.

Acquisition Integrates Medical Workplaces with Patient Homes
Bannockburn, Ill. – April 3, 2006 – Omron Healthcare, Inc. today announced the completion of the acquisition of San Antonio-based Colin Medical Instruments Corporation (CMI). The announcement follows Omron Healthcare Co. Ltd.’s (Kyoto, Japan) acquisition of Colin Medical Technology Corporation (Komaki, Japan) in June 2005.

Colin and Omron to Exhibit Together at AHA Scientific Sessions
San Antonio, TX, October 18, 2005 -- Colin Medical Instruments and Omron Healthcare will have their first combined exhibit when they team up in booth 1345 at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions. The event is scheduled for November 13 through 16 at the Dallas Convention Center.

The Carlyle Group Agrees to Sell Colin Medical Technology to Omron Corporation
Tokyo, Japan, May 11, 2005 -- Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group today announced an agreement to sell Colin Medical Technology (CMT) to Omron Corporation. This agreement is conditional on Omron retaining CMT’s current management and workforce, respecting CMT’s managerial independence and maintaining the CMT brand.
